Stop One

The Whippoorwill Trail begins next to the Nature Museum, which is housed in a log structure built in the mid-1800s. A large variety of animals found at Whippoorwill -- and some beautiful snake visitors -- live in the Nature Museum during the summer. A small creek runs next to the Nature Museum, and the Whippoorwill Trail parallels this creek for the first part of the walk.
