A Hound Dog Finds a Valentine Friend
Lily, the camp hound dog, lost her latest best friend, Miss Duck, when Miss Duck finally made friends with the new ducks. Just in time for Valentines day, though, Lily has found a new friend!
One cold morning I was walking by Lily's heated dog house, where she was snuggled down. She came out to greet me, knowing that I would give her the usual milk bone. I glanced back in the window of her dog house and saw something furry. I looked closer and saw a fat, furry possum sleeping soundly in the dog house. Lily and the possum had been warm and cozy together in the warm doghouse. The possum was even snoring! The possum did not get up all day.
Lily has found a new friend - and just in time for Valentine's day!
