Feb. 2009: Tinker Again!
Tinker, with one blue eye and one brown eye, is the smartest camp pony.
He can untie knots, break into the tack room, and back up against a board fence to break the boards with the force of his back end!
He now has a new horse trick, as observed by Julia the horse director. Julia feeds the horses hay and sweet grain every day. Tinker is fat and is not given very much sweet feed, as she does not need it. Tinker figured out how to get more of the good stuff.
Misty, the sweet, grey, lady horse was daintily eating her grain, when Tinker sneakily angled over sideways, steathily ducked his head sideways under Misty, and grabbed her food bowl with his teeth. He dragged it a few feet away and began merrily eating.
Misty was left looking confused, and wondering where her dinner went!
I am beginning to think that one day Tinker will knock on my door and invite himself to dinner!
