Important: New Bus stop for the Purple Parrot!
Parents, we've had to make a last-minute change to the bus stop on the Purple Parrot route. Instead of using Hillsboro Church of Christ, we will now be picking up at Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 5820 Hillsboro Road, and is next to the Church of Christ. This will be a permanent change for the entire summer. The drop-off and pick-up time remains the same, with pick-up at 8:10 a.m.* and drop-off at 4:20 p.m. There will be a counselor with a sign waiting at the correct area for drop-off. Please pull into the church driveway and take the first right into the parking lot. The bus will be on the side closest to Hillsboro Road. If you have any questions, please call the camp office at 799-9925 and we will be glad to help. Sorry for the change, and thank you for understanding!

Build a Bear or Frog: Each Thursday and Friday, campers can sign up for the Build a Bear (or Frog) interest group. If your camper would like to participate, the animals are $12 each and come with a Whippoorwill t-shirt. Order forms will be sent home on the buses every Monday and may be returned throughout the week. Click here for more information.

Wait List Policy: Whippoorwill will not have a wait list for summer 2010. If any openings occur, we will post an announcement on the Whippoorwill website homepage and update our office voicemail to list which session has space. We will include a time-stamp so you know when the opening occurred.
If you want to sign up for the open space, please call the camp office at 799-9925. Calling the office will be the only way to claim any spaces. Once the space has been filled, we will update the website and our voicemail.
We are aware that is not an ideal way to handle openings, but we feel it will work best for our camp. However, we are always trying to improve the way we run Whippoorwill, and if you have any suggestions for future summers, we would love to hear them.
